El portal español sobre el Implante Coclear alcanza el millón de visitas |

El pasado día 4 de agosto, el portal en español www.implantecoclear.org registró el visitante 1.000.000. En 1997 inició su andadura, convirtiéndose en poco tiempo en la primera página Web no comercial en español sobre el Implante Coclear, siendo la referencia actual más importante dentro del mundo de habla hispana. Diversos han sido los "webmaster" encargados de su elaboración y mantenimiento, destacando el carácter voluntario de todos ellos y que sigue manteniéndose en la actualidad. Algunas curiosidades: - 5 han sido las reformas de diseño que se han realizado desde el año 1997.
- La visita 1.000.000 se produjo entre las 17 y las 18 horas (hora local española, GMT+2) del día 4 de agosto de 2010.
- El día de más actividad se registró el 2 de junio de 2010 con 1.078 visitas.
- El país desde donde se reciben más visitas, obviando España, es Argentina.
- El país europeo desde donde se reciben visitas es Portugal.
- Los días que se producen más visitas son los martes y los miércoles, siendo el sábado el que menos.
- El mes que más incremento de visitas ha habido en relación con el año 2009 fue febrero con un 29%.
- Las visitas desde el continente americano suponen el 31,1%.
- Se han recibido visitas de lugares tan dispares como Japón, Australia, Sudáfrica, Jordania, Israel, China...
- Desde el año 2001 la página Web se edita desde Zaragoza

Friday 16 April 2010 Now taking place at The Ear Foundation, Nottingham UK A focussed conference exploring the challenges and issues around cochlear implantation for adults, covering a wide range of issues including changing communication needs and recent research outcomes. We are delighted to be hosting this day in partnership with Geoff Plant and the Hearing Rehabilitation Foundation in the US.
