"Action by Working Together" Advancing technologies: opening new communication opportunities. 4th March 2010 Venue: The Resource Centre, 356 Holloway Road, London, N7 6PA.
This one day conference will offer the opportunity to gain accessible, up to date information on the latest developments in: Hearing aids, Cochlear implants, Electro-acoustic hearing aids, Bone-anchored hearing aids, FM systems and their use in school and the workplace, Soundfield systems, Middle Ear Implants and Communication support systems. The presentations will be set in the user and family perspective, exploring the use of the modern technologies in promoting effective communication in everyday life. The day will be chaired in the morning by Sue Archbold, Chief Executive, The Ear Foundation and in the afternoon by Susan Daniels OBE, Chief Executive, NDCS and Chair of UK Council on Deafness.
